Screw is not properly threaded

As others have said, keep your old screw. I tried to photograph the threads. It's definitely a different step. Otherwise it works as it should.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Lot

Not as pretty as factory but worked

This is not a high quality part, I would have expected it to last forever but it worked and the price was perfect. Hopefully if this one breaks I can get another one for the same price.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I will add later

It came quickly. that's a plus.

The product fitted and fixed the broken bracket. Getting it into 4x4 and then back into 2wd is extremely difficult. I'll probably order a Ford replacement, but until then that's enough for me.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

Old hardware needs to be reused

Identical to the factory part but the new mounting screw has the wrong thread pitch so I had to grind and polish my keyed original screw and reuse it. If the screw worked I would give five stars.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Poorly designed

The through bolt must not be single-stage.

My only issue with this system is that my original thru-bolt and the new one had a different thread pitch. My only other comment would be that for a small additional charge bushings for the connecting rod could be included. But apart from that big part and thank you!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Keep the original mounting screw, you will need it.

Save the original mounting screw, you will need it. The bolt provided will NOT thread into a factory nut or any other hardware store nut, I've tried standard and metric sizes, the hardware store guy was amazed he couldn't find a single nut that fitted this bolt. THROW IT OUT and use your original bolt to attach it to the gearbox. Everything else was fine, it was very cheap compared to the prices I've seen, overall it's a win, I saved money and it works great.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
