Great product. It works great on my 42 inch Samsung TV. I bought various drywall anchors. The TV hangs great and the parts work perfectly. I installed it myself and the process was easy. It comes with Masonic anchors only. I highly recommend investing in good anchors (less than $10). If you buy this item you will receive additional anchors.

Bought this to hang a 2012 Samsung 46 inch LCD TV in my bedroom. Seven years later we woke up in the middle of the night when it broke off the wall. The cheap blocks of plastic that screwed into the TV became brittle and crumbled under the weight. Luckily the TV survived and is working fine. No luck.

Very easy installation. Hanging the TV was a bit tricky even with two burly boys. It's like hanging a very heavy picture or mirror on 2 heavy hooks. Sometimes 2 hooks hit the wire exactly. Other times you get 1 side and have to play with the tension on the wire you learned to hook the other hook. Just impractical due to the size and weight of the TV.

All I can say is that you'd better have it professionally installed. This is an extremely shallow rite of passage against a wall mount. If any cables/connectors are sticking out of the TV, it will make the TV stick out. Not good. I had to cut holes in the wall to push it against the wall. Once all the plugs are recessed, the TV lays flat and just looks great! Great product at a great price! The rest depends on the installer.

The instructions also clearly state to mount the discs on the wall 15 inches apart.
