Our factory remote stopped working so I ordered this one. It's smaller than the original. Another thing is that it doesn't work that well, sometimes you have to press the same button multiple times to work. I wouldn't buy it unless you're desperate, it works but it's a piece of junk. There's nothing but good things to say, although the instructions on how to do it were easy to follow.

Not exactly the same as the original, you need to specify directly The receiver must be programmed onto the receiver without interference, but instead of reprogramming the remote, the receiver changes so the original no longer works with the receiver. Overall, I'd be better off with a real Dish-Net remote.

Cheap POS. I bought it thinking it would work with my dish receiver but it doesn't. I'll have to borrow someone else's remote to access the system info screen and hopefully get the thing working. If not I'll send it back. My only advice is to AVOID this remote and look for a real Dish remote. The manual is of little help if the SAT does not work. The manual is handy for everything you need to set up (DVD/TV/etc).
