One of the digits started after approx. I contacted the seller and NEVER got a reply. Very disappointed that this one started failing but MORE disappointed that the seller never fixed my issue. I was planning on replacing the other one I had with this guy, then I would have two. I need to find a replacement for this and leave the other style I had on the other side of the terrarium.

ABSOLUTELY horrible. They look good maybe holding them in your hand! I bought several of these for my two reptile enclosures. I had to send them back a second time once they were out of the box! There is no way to actually see the temperature and humidity! There really can't be a worse reader on the market! Thrown in a box and eventually they end up in the trash can! EXTREMELY dark, very difficult to read! Even with a brand new battery, you'll need to angle a flashlight to read the numbers. For the price paid I expected more. I have to open the tank and hold a sheet of paper or paper towel behind it to see the numbers. This company's customer service is non-existent as I sent two messages with no reply. Sometimes it shows numbers, sometimes it's blank. I definitely think anyone wanting to use this for a reptile tank that maintains high humidity levels…

I don't know how all these people are struggling, I can only speak for myself but I love these ones! I split three tanks into two and all three are still working almost a full year later! We bought this digital thermohydrometer on February 3rd and 7th for two separate tanks. Both stopped working this week. We reordered and attempted to replace the battery in one. One doesn't work at all and the second only works if you open the battery cover slightly. If you close the battery case completely, it won't work.
