We had one of these kits as a kid and loved it! We have used it every year. That's why I ordered this set. It's great in concept, but it's really cheaply made. 4 out of 12 eggs were broken before we even opened the container. You could literally see them cracking in the box. When I opened the box and sorted it, another egg broke. We will be buying from another supplier next year as clearly they will not last long. However, this is a great way to talk about the reason for Easter.

I received resurrection eggs in the mail the other day and although I haven't shown them to my kids yet I know they will love them! Good quality eggs, the packaging is very strong. The booklet is informative and contains thought-provoking questions. Since the first egg is talking about Palm Sunday, we will start with these eggs on Palm Sunday and double them several times throughout the week (e.g. Easter.

Not a Story Fan. But as long as you know what your Bible says, surviving the resurrection shouldn't be a problem. Next year we will not use the booklet. But they are great and like to use them as part of a new tradition. The items inside the eggs are great and some were even wrapped for protection which I thought was nice. I think they are great for giving kids pictures and asking questions. I definitely recommend it! Although, maybe not a booklet. but it contains verses that are good.

I bought this to start the Easter tradition of reading the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus with my grandchildren each Easter. They loved opening the eggs and showing the symbolic parts. I asked my daughter to read the story to start a tradition this year. My only suggestion is to take the time to read the story to yourself first before reading it aloud. There are a few areas that I think you can work on a bit for the little ones. I'm not saying we should change the facts because…
