I even saw good reviews of this walkie-talkie on YouTube. I used to use mid-range radios and Motorola family radios. They were way better compared to those radios. These radios offer good value for money. You won't achieve, but maybe miles in severe mountainous terrain and even less for urban areas. I bought them when we travel with a group of cars so everyone is connected to some degree. This works well for this purpose as long as the front and rear cars aren't too far apart. We use them at our own expense with Retevis RT22 (16ch) and some much more expensive Motorola radios. I'm a big fan of Motorola in the commercial radio space, but I can attest that they work just as well as a few Motorola FRS units we've tried.
