I was pleasantly surprised by the ability of these devices to penetrate our 4 story building and surrounding parking lots. Our security team is feeling much better and able to carry out their duties, and for a small fee we can equip the entire team. Very happy with the performance, just a pity that the channel switching buttons are not easy to press accidentally.

These were great radios for what I needed them for and they worked great for the one day of use I could squeeze out of them. However, one of the batteries exploded while the radio was on a six-position charger. A small fire actually started that destroyed my carpet. If I wasn't sitting 3 feet away from myself at this point, I would be homeless by now. Do yourself a favor and spend more on something else.

Have ordered them twice now, one set for each of my bowling lanes that I work on. They work great with what we're doing with them. They're loud enough to be heard from behind when all the engines are running. If you are looking for affordable, reliable walkie-talkies, then this is the one for you. The radios themselves are great and work well for our office, but the headsets that came with the radios don't work well. 2 earplugs stopped working after a week. The seller replaced them, however two more headphones stopped working shortly after receiving two replacements for a 3 star rating. You end up having to buy additional higher quality headphones. These small, light and slim radios have a simple, robust shape and configuration. Very easy to use but with all the features you need to keep our church safe. Almost damn perfect.
