It's definitely not easy enough to use without worrying about fragility. After only a few uses it began to curl, resulting in severe creases/creases and an apparent inability to withstand prolonged use. When I came back I learned my lesson.

Very stable and strong. I like that they sent two installation kits. I installed them in two different places in the house to suit different situations, the sleeping area and the staircase. Easily move from one room to another. Looks nice and neat, not flashy.

We needed a gate for the base of our living room stairs and I love that it's easy to dodge and dodge when we don't need it. It's pretty solid, our 9 month old pulled on the lid while it was locked. Sometimes it doesn't retract smoothly and you have to open it again to make it roll back.

We use it on the porch for our dogs. They love it because they can still see through or under it, but it's bold enough that they react to it like a solid fence. Smooth appearance too. We live in a rented house so we actually tied a 2 x 4 to a post and then mounted it to a tree. Works perfectly!

It works as advertised, I replaced the screws that came with it as they snapped slightly at the cross mark. The installation didn't go bad although it would be better if the installation templates had a little sticky on the back (possibly a self-adhesive label) as it helps to keep things tidy and tight. We've got the production specs as close to the ground as possible, and unfortunately that doesn't quite fit the intended purpose.
