Not sure broken after a month of use. Now it's too late to go back. I bought it before my baby could crawl just to finish it but I've been waiting for it to work and now I can't return it. I will not buy this gate again. waste of money

Well packaged and very easy to install. No instructions were required and it only took a few minutes. It's easy to use. It is fixed so that it does not sag to prevent children and dogs from crawling under it to pass or unhook it alone. The screen feels solid, but I wouldn't recommend it if you need it for a large dog that likes to put its front paws on the top edge, or if they're diggers. It cannot last long against such use. Bought this to tell my 1 year old grandson apart from dogs. He likes going into the kitchen to play and knocking over the water bowl for the dogs. It looked like a good solution. So brave it seems to work. Pretty easy to get up. Drill 8 holes, screw in 4 mounting brackets and fasten the gate. Pretty easy to handle and big enough for a grandson. But a few directions are missing. No word on which drill press to use. I tried 5/16" for the anchors first as it was the right size. But the screws…

So I really wanted this to work. My 2 year old keeps getting up in the middle of the night and I was hoping this retractable feature would work for us. Unfortunately this was not the case. Both times we installed and then reinstalled it, my 2 year old pulled it out of the wall and now it's tearing the paint off the wall. The extensions are still firmly in the wall, but the nails are completely out. I'm not sure how much she pulled on it (it was midnight), but she managed to get out of her room.
