🍶 Retro 1950s Stoneware Salt and Pepper Shakers Set Review

I like the retro style of these shakers. I have as in the photo - light blue and light green. They look great in my kitchen! If the lids were tight and unscrewed to fill I would give them 5 stars. I read it in the description and expected it to be so. That's the only change I would make. I am grateful to know that they should only be hand washed. I will and hope these shakers last a long time.

I'm glad I read the reviews on this but the ones that got to me were perfect. I'm glad I knew these weren't screw tops (as the product information said they weren't and I had overlooked that at first). The pouring holes above appear to be pouring at the perfect rate. The shakers are a bit bigger than I expected but that's what the product information said and they're still perfect. The colors seem to match the picture pretty much. I'm actually very excited about that.

The salt and pepper shakers are very decorative and beautiful. Unfortunately they are completely useless. The filling is complex, there is a very small hole at the bottom. So you have to turn the shaker upside down to fill something. But that means what you put in comes out through holes on the other side.
