Could be better: Computer and Accessories

Only for Pi 3b! I should have read the item description more carefully. I made a small modification but adapted to Pi 4b 👌. Safe shutdown, reboot and USB board is pretty cool, had to modify USB cable to get to 4b but works fine 🤙 Case slot was a cool idea but doesn't work. The eject button opens the slot, but it doesn't open wide enough to fit into the case 🤣 (and yes, I tried disassembling it just in case the 4b blocked the hole). In general, the case looks good and works after some…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Weak Kit

This case is almost exactly the same size and layout as the official Ninty SNES Classic. The mechanical on/off switch is very convenient to use, although several ways I tried didn't get the shutdown script to work. The supplied faux cartridge is decent, but I'm uncomfortable with the magnet being so close to my Pi and couldn't fit it into the connector, so I don't use it. All in all a nice case for the Pi and I would give it 5 stars overall if I could figure out this shutdown scenario for the…

It's $20 but it has so many great features!

Cool case for my RPi3B+! Can't wait for Retroflag to release this with RPi4 compatibility! I like the soft shutdown and reset features. I also really appreciate the spacious room layout! If I were to change something, it would be a more durable solution for closing the case than the metal screws in the plastic racks. I would also appreciate the compatibility with larger fans and more space between the fins on the bottom for air intake. I haven't had any heat issues, but I want my gear to be as…

Old case with new function

Yes, that's the Retroflag case you probably already have. There is no point in looking at it in detail as they are known to be high-quality and well-designed Raspberry Pi cases. However, I'm not exactly thrilled with the new feature. If you have the original version, you probably don't need it. If you *must* have a cartridge up, that's up to you. I don't know if it's convenient for me to store my SD cards in a small space with the magnetically attached cartridge. Magnet. I'll just save them…

Good case but needs a little tweaking

NESPi and NESPi plus so I had high hopes for this case. The case itself is well made and easy to assemble, but the unit I received had no airflow which caused the PI to constantly display the thermometer icon. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the vents on the back of the device were covered. I used a utility knife to open them and I hope that's enough. If not I'll put a fan in, but I wouldn't as it's noisy. Other minor issues: The two front screws are hidden under the footpads, making…

Great case but will require some rework (or case replacement)

This is a good case for the Retropie Playstation and is very good value for money. The added benefit of a safe shutdown and reboot is a real pleasure to buy. However, that's why I only had to give it 4 stars. You need to program the Pi to safely turn off with the case switch. which is easy enough, and there are great YouTube videos that make it easy to follow. In the first case, however, the system was not properly (safely) shut down. I contacted support but they only sent me links to youtube…

Careful. There are some issues with the assembly of this case.

In general a good case. Holds the Raspberry Pi well, with plenty of room and includes circuit boards that offer 'safe shutdown' and reset buttons for operation. The only thing that really worries me is that the case is assembled with self-tapping screws in the plastic posts at the top of the case, rather than using machined screws and inserts in the posts for easy reassembly like Retroflag did with their GPi case . . So if you have to open and close a case, there's a high chance you can delete…

The ultimate SNES-inspired RetroPie case.

I have 3 RetroFlag NESPi+ cases, MegaPi and SuperPi. These cases do not disappoint. As cases they are as good as most other cases, although the Argon One is the best "regular" case in my opinion. When you pair these cases with RetroPie and play classic games on your build, they really feel nostalgic. All three look great! The SuperPi even comes with a fake cartridge held by magnets and rounds off the appearance of the system. I paired mine with an 8BitDo SNES bluetooth controller and as you can

Pros
  • This is great

  • Some bugs
