Earlier I reported that the magnets on both ends of a tie are missing. Now the missing neoprene plates of the first tie fall onto the other tie and release the magnets. Give him a passport.

The idea behind it is amazing. However, some of the small magnets have fallen out (the silicone part around the magnet has fallen out) and if lost the tie will become unusable. It would be better if they were glued. I go and put some super glue on the ones I have left over, but it seems silly that they don't turn out that well.

I was glad to find this product was offered at a reasonable price. I like things that are simply organized and that seems to work great. Not only does it keep strings wrapped and tidy, I can use it in the fridge for pictures/postcards, scissors, etc. I expect to use it to keep my craft supplies organized. If longer ties are needed I can double them up. The magnets seem strong enough for my needs and I love the different colors.

I was so excited to see these that I was wondering how quickly I could coil up my cables and get them ready for transport as I travel quite a bit. They arrived on time and a very nice colour, the magnetic force of the magnets is so weak that they don't stick together causing the cords to fall apart as if you aren't using them. I bought these for my husband for cable management. He's kind of a pure geek and techie so I thought it would make a great gift. The idea was there, but the quality wasn't the best. Such a good design in theory; but unfortunately not implemented. (1) The magnets protrude from the ends of the zip ties, and (2) the zip tie itself does not stretch enough to wrap around most cords and cables. These cable ties have been very useful to me. They stretch for most uses and the magnets are pretty strong. It would be nice if the magnets were a bit stronger, simply because when you have to stretch them to get something, sometimes the tension in the band is enough to break the magnets; but tying them in a bow instead of wrapping them around something twice helps solve this problem.
