I loved the softness of the pads, especially around my sensitive eyes. The pads washed easily and looked like new after washing. Love these, have been using them every day for over a month and will never buy disposables again. I like the "rough side" texture. I apply my micellar water and my face is so clear. I put my tonic on the soft side and it works great. I bought these wipes to replace disposable wipes, thinking they were more environmentally friendly. They are double-sided: one, like a terry towel; the other, smoother, more like a short terry cloth pile. The "soft” side also looks too rough for the eye area. Let me be clear that my skin is very sensitive which means anything can cause a rash or reaction. These pads have a nice texture, the peeling side is not very rough. The thickness keeps my toner from getting to the other side of the pad so I can definitely use it twice. I still haven't washed my first batch so I don't know how easy it is to clean them.

I used witch hazel and a circle to remove all makeup. I was afraid that the cosmetics would get dirty, but it was washed off with soap and water! Super easy to clean.

Larger than a cotton circle but maybe 1/2 inch in diameter. I use them to apply toner and they work great! The included drawstring bag is great for storage or travel and I have adapted the lingerie bag to hang on the bathroom towel rail to store those bamboo pads after use so they don't get lost in the wash.
