I bought this bag to reduce the use of a zip bag. Ideal for storing vegetables, cheese, leftovers and other small perishable items. The zipper closes well and the bag is easy to rinse out for repeated use.

Silicone withstands temperatures in excess of 400°F. It is not fair to sell a PEVA based product as silicone. Especially when you consider how toxic plastic is to our bodies and the planet. (and whatever marketers tell us, PEVA is plastic)

TL; DR - Not bad, but I recommend trying something else. properly align and B) lock the two parts of the zipper. Once you've snapped them in place they're fine, you just need to line them up correctly and squeeze MUCH harder than you have to to snap them in AND THEN hold the zipper pressure while running your fingers all the way through the bag to seal it. I'm talking about excessive power.

I can use these to store snacks and sandwiches nuts etc. in a fridge. I also use them to store pre-cooked portion sized beans in the freezer. They are not as thick and therefore take up less space. They appear to be well made, but we'll update them later to see how they hold up over time.
