I love the silicone cases that I carry in my bag when I'm drinking coffee or watching a movie. I keep them folded up in a small pouch in my purse and put the dirty ones in a separate bag until I get home. Really helps me to stop using disposable straws when I'm not at home. The metal ones are good for household use and their edges are finished so they are not sharp.

This is probably the first time I'm doing a public review. My goal in choosing this product was that I would never be able to remove thick straws. First of all I would like to say that these straws are a great alternative to "single use" plastic and even paper straws. They're all dishwasher safe, although the metal straws were narrow enough to fit in the cutlery tray, so I put a little mesh in the bottom of the tray to prevent this. They are accompanied by two brushes in the form of bottle brushes, so manual cleaning is not difficult. As for silicone straws, I underestimated and didn't realize that the diameter was huge.
