Design Flaws: Styling Tools and Accessories

I have been using Revlon styling brushes for several years now. This model has a new design - you change the brush head by simply pulling it out. The problem is that if you switch mid-styling, the brush will be hot and difficult to remove. The bristles of the big brush came out too; very annoying. I also missed the third hair dryer attachment. The air has never been as hot as with older models. This is a case where changing a product didn't make it better. Get the "older" model with three…

Pros
  • 2 heat/speed settings with Cool Shot for ultimate styling control
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

It is durable and does a great job of straightening and curling.

This is the second time I buy this product. The first lasted at least 7 years with daily, carefree, sometimes hectic use. It is durable and does a great job of straightening and curling fine hair. The regular curling iron doesn't hold my thin hair well, but this one does. It's pretty easy to use. The larger part is good for the body and the erection, while the smaller part provides a good somersault.

Pros
  • 3x ceramic coating to reduce hair damage
Cons
  • Contemporary

Works perfectly if you only use the large brush

Bought to replace an old Revlon model with same size brushes, only issue so far. This one has holes on the small roller brush that let all the hot air out before it reaches the part of the brush. In the older version, the area is closed, allowing hot air to escape through the brush, allowing it to dry and curl at the same time. this one doesn't, so it dries up without the curl function, so defeating the whole purpose of the little brush. not recommended for this reason

Pros
  • . A NOTICE. Please read instruction manual and pictures for instructions on removing and installing brush heads
Cons
  • Annoyed

Ideal for short hair

I love this item. I also have a large oval drybrush. You know who I mean. This is great for my daughter's long long hair but not for my chin length hair. This item is PERFECT for chin length hair, even shorter I'm sure. I dry my hair about 60% THEN pull the baby out and add some body and updo. I like that I can hold the other end and it doesn't get hot on my fingers. Love the quick release button so you don't stretch that curl you just styled! And finally, I like to put the cold temperature…

So easy to use for hot air brushes

This is probably the third unit I have bought in the last few years. Makes styling so much easier than juggling a blow dryer and a round brush. I usually dry my hair to a damp state and then use it. I'm sure this won't be my last. Usually use it daily and it will last for several years. I would highly recommend and NO they are not all the same. I was having trouble finding this in the store so I bought 2 others that looked similar but didn't cut it. I'm so glad this one still exists.

Pros
  • The performance of this unit may vary depending on where you use it
Cons
  • Hard to say

I have been an experienced barber for over 27 years. Many of my clients are getting older and are finding it more and more difficult to hold a blow dryer and a round brush, especially when trying to work on their head and crown area. turn. The hair gets tangled too easily and gets tangled in the bristles. 2- The handle is thin enough that small hands and hands with mild arthritis can hold it well without being too heavy or bulky. 3- The brushes have cool touch tips that you can use them with…

Pros
  • 1" and 1-1/2" thermal brush heads with easy change button
Cons
  • Expensive
