I have a lot of hair! It is very thick, but the hair itself is thin and very long. I have to put it in a bun every day, and I've torn ligaments left and right! Regular rubber bands didn't cut, my hair fell out during the day and I had to keep doing it again. Then when I reached out to pull my hair, *click*! They are definitely thick and strong but very difficult to use for styling. They are quite small and I like to wear a rubber band around my wrist when starting with my hair loose, but I can't do that, they are too tight. Even when I style my hair with it, I can't get it done more than twice, which makes my hair fall out during the day anyway.

What more could you ask for? I am mixed race, black, seminole, white and my hair is thick curly and needs a hard grip like a mistress. My curls have their own minds, I love and hate them. It's amazing these rubber bands keep them in tune. On the other hand, my friend is Korean with long straight hair (so beautiful but her hair is like a snake that slowly strangles her while she sleeps - her words) and she regrets it! She threw away all her old ones and is trying hard not to lose her first band.

I have pretty thick long hair so I was looking for the perfect scrunchie. It was ok but they were so thick I couldn't fold the elastic in half so I just had to wear it in a bow around my hair, in this case it was pretty loose. Might work for someone but they didn't work well for me.

I have very long and thick hair and I thought this would be a great alternative to the constant problem of stretched hair ties. Unfortunately, they're too thick to be functional and will stretch instantly anyway, so they don't make any sense. Wouldn't recommend it.
