good. Firstly if you are buying this you probably want the computer to be battery powered like mine, 13 volts won't work. using a voltage regulator. so the voltage is 12 volts. and mine is broken, goes on and off under load, and that's the 300 watt version. They must have a built-in regulator. Because you can have a 12 volt power supply out of the wall, but if it's a higher voltage or too low for it, it won't do anything. This thing is too finicky and unreliable for a 12 volt battery, the other

Quality control issues, but so far everything is working fine.

Needed more power for upcoming graphics card installation so I decided to replace the 19.5V 90W PSU. It would be nice if this device also used 19.5V laptop power supplies as there aren't many new options for high amperage 12V power supplies. Ordered a used Dell DA-2 240W (google for manual), 5.5mm x 2.5mm barrel adapter and 6 pin to two 8 pin PCIe adapters (barrel to this Pico and 8 pin to GPU). Choose an appropriate power supply for the installation. It costs about $25 but requires some…

Works perfect. Information added to help you

This PICO power supply is working properly. I bought a few different wattages to see if I could replace my traditional outgassing PSUs like the Corsair. I built eight systems. Over time, the whole room smells like a computer with traditional power supplies. Circuit board paste is a known carcinogen, so all the warning signs you see at various electronics stores and other stores are still there when the equipment is working properly. I've used five different brands, RGeek and Mini seem to be…

Works great, powers PC with 12 volts DC

We have used several of these units over the years and have previously released a 250 watt model of this type of unit. This is an update that suits our purposes well. The cables are well made, the blue LED power indicator is handy and the device runs cool. We will buy more of these.

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • So far so good

Died on arrival for computer components

It could have been an accident but mine was dead on arrival. My power supply is powerful enough to power anything plugged into it five times more, but I didn't get any zero voltage on either rail of this source. I'll update as soon as a replacement arrives and I can test if it works. Update: I just received my second block. This one worked a little better, but still not enough to be considered "working". The blue LED flashed very briefly before going out. Testing the pin voltage didn't show a…

Fantastic little power supply with the best internals

Needed more power for my mining farm. I had a picoPSU-160-XT (160W/200W peak) but I added some Acorn CLE 215+ FPGAs powered by a 3.3V rail (M.2 spec) and this 160-XT didn't give me enough stock. In general, no complaints, everything is done qualitatively and works perfectly.

Works like a champ!

This thing works great. Use it with this power adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074GGMD5J) on my multimedia computer for a totally silent build! Has been working flawlessly for over 4 months. Update: I have 2 of these now and they both work great. One in my son's i3 for a quiet fit in his room, the other in an i7 quiet fit in my bedroom. These things are great! Buy a third to silence the kitchen computer. It's free to rip out that noisy power supply and plug in this little thing for…

Has been working 24/7 for over a year

I am using this power supply on my file server where it has been running 24/7 for over a year. I don't use the nominal 300W as I ended up using a 10W CPU instead of the planned 65W CPU.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Quick start guide
