Review on πŸ’» RGEEK 1106 DC to DC ATX PSU 12V 300W: Efficient Mini ITX PC Power Supply for Computers by Mardrequs Dorsey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfect. Information added to help you

This PICO power supply is working properly. I bought a few different wattages to see if I could replace my traditional outgassing PSUs like the Corsair. I built eight systems. Over time, the whole room smells like a computer with traditional power supplies. Circuit board paste is a known carcinogen, so all the warning signs you see at various electronics stores and other stores are still there when the equipment is working properly. I've used five different brands, RGeek and Mini seem to be popular. My only concern is the power cord with an encapsulated power transformer (looks like a laptop power cord with a large power module) that can get hot when I'm doing intensive activities like hard drive cloning. Hard drive with lots of data on it. I would test different power cords and choose more power than you think you need. Don't overdo it Usually the cables don't get hot at all The Mini brand offers both an adapter and a compatible PS power cable. The guy with all the problems must be doing something wrong. As a comparison aid, my systems are various i7 boards with mid-range Zotac graphics cards. I even have an older 20 pin P3 board powered by PICO. If you want to run 8pin CPU board, please use 450W or 500W 8pin adapter on Ali Express website. The guy selling them here almost doubled the price. I don't mind a small profit of $10 per unit to $35 to avoid buying on a Chinese site, but $25 for a $29 part is way too much. here at Revain they're $50 plus dollars, which is ridiculous. This is a good device. mine works perfectly, hope this helps
