These are classic wastebaskets. The size is good, not too small and not too big. I bought this to replace one that has finally died after too many years in the sun. I'm happy to report that neither the materials nor the design have changed. This is a classic.

Fits perfectly under my bin cupboard. It has completely replaced the original. I used a jar that was too big for the hole and it scratched the walls when I pulled the jar out to throw in something I wish I had found years ago.

Not much to say about the bin, right. It works, but unfortunately the sides move outwards during the molding process. The sides are not straight at the top and bottom. There was a problem with placing it on a shelf in a closet like the previous one. I would still buy it again as it meets our needs.

Bought two of these. The first lasted 4 years, the last did not live up to 2 years. The lifting points or "knobs" are not reinforced and when you lift them under the sink they bend and crack. Maybe having them in a position where you can lift both handles at the same time is enough, but we don't have a pullout under the sink so that happens.

Sturdy and practical, holds a lot of rubbish. This is about the maximum size we could fit under our sink with a fairly large trash can and a 10 inch deep sink. We've had these bins of various sizes for years and they hold up well. We use an insert. for kitchen scraps A bit pricey but I had trouble finding this size.

These jars are specially sized to fit in a recycling and garbage cupboard. They appear to be considered special items, which is why none of the expected stores have them. It's a bummer that Rubbermaid does for the price, but it fits, feels durable and does the job well. If you need it, then this is the choice. If you don't have specific sizing needs, get one of the regular ones, which are less than half the price.
