I bought this helmet for my niece as she required an x-small helmet and her instructor didn't have one on-hand. It fits nicely, snug but comfortable. It has a lot of padding inside so that it doesn't move around on her head. Her instructor fitted it for us and, so far, it's worked great for her lessons!

The helmet arrived in a timely manner, it was exactly as described. Love the adjuster in the back so it can fit her as she grows, I tried it on her and she went right over to her rocking horse and got on , it was so cute, can’t wait to teach her to ride!

I'm very pleased with this purchase. At first when I put it on, I didn't get the sit right on my head and wasn't sure how it was going to compare-- once I adjusted it a bit- BAM! Perfect. I use it for my 3 year old daughter and I love that I can easily put it on her and adjust it quickly. She tends to fight me when I touch her head but because this is so easy to adjust I can do it quickly and without any issues.

I've worn Troxel helmets for years and can attest to their ruggedness as I took a spill off my horse goofing around. The Troxel was cracked at the spot where my head hit the ground; it possibly saved my life but definitely prevented certain injuries (Reminder: NO helmet can protect from every type of head injury). Which is why I bought one for my 4 y.o. niece who has just started riding. I hope she's a better rider than I but I'm very happy that Troxel makes helmets in her size. I'm pretty sure
