🔍 Ridgid VF3500 3 Layer Filter WD4050: Enhancing Performance and Efficiency Review

These filters are good quality and fit perfectly but if I had known they existed I would have ordered the HEPA filters that are also available for this vacuum cleaner.

So I have a 5 gallon wet and dry vacuum and there is a filter that is expensive so I looked for that and I use the vacuum a lot to clean my cars , and so far the filter is doing its job and I can't complain about the great price and fast shipping. I would buy it again blessed people

The filter snaps into place in 2 seconds. Only friction is suitable. Absolutely no problem as it is from the original manufacturer. I've also included a photo from the box showing what other filters are compatible with the vacuum. This 3 layer filter is actually cheaper than the 1 layer filter (at least at Revain at the moment) so good value for money in comparison.

I use my WD4080 daily for auto detailing. I probably haven't changed my filter in 100+ cars. Needless to say, I'm tired of cleaning the filter and collecting dust everywhere. It was a direct replacement and was very easy to replace. The Ridgid had a very good locking system that makes changing filters remarkably easy. Vacuum works much better now. Great part!

I have already washed and reused the filter and am replacing it after the paper filter starts to deteriorate. The first two times I washed this filter by rinsing it lightly under the tap in the sink. Last time I soaked it for a few minutes to remove fine dust. It was a bad idea. The next time I used it, the creases collapsed. Anyway, I could still use it multiple times, so it's better than 1 time. Big.

I suspected this filter would fit this odd machine not listed as it fits all other models in the WD40xx series , and luckily it fits. That aside, it seems to work with the excellence you'd expect from Ridgid's tools. I bought this vacuum used and someone used it with no filter bag, just the last stage filter. The filter was broken, but as far as I can tell from the whirring of the engine, the filter saved the vacuum. I really can't ask for more.

Great for my WD4070! Fits like a glove and now I can continue cleaning. I had to buy a replacement because I was using the vacuum to vacuum up water and left the filter on after I was done. You should take it out and let it dry after soaking up the water. I didn't know that, hence the purchase. Even if your vacuum seems weaker than usual, STOP using it. This Ridgid VF3500 3-Ply Filter is a perfect match for my 7+ year old RIDGID WD4050 shop vacuum. While there is some confusion over the part number mismatch between the VF3500 and VR3500, this is simply because RIDGID has updated the filter design.
