Efficient Cleaning with 🧹 Ridgid VF5000 3 Layer Pleated Vacuum Review

Dust was a big problem on our recent renovation project. Cleaning made easy with the VF-5000 (clean breeze). Worked great and would be my choice for a replacement regardless of the project.

the filter is perfect for my workshop vacuum cleaner. It filters dust well and what I like about it is that I can blow it clean and start over. You can't beat him for money.

Manufactured by Ridgid, this filter replaces the white monolayer filter that comes with your vacuum cleaner. Fits like a glove and practically nothing can get around it. It's worth it, especially if you're doing drywall or cleaning concrete dust.

This product cannot be washed or wet/dry cleaned. After a few uses it just fell apart like all the cheaper ones. I don't know what you're paying for, but it's definitely not a washable filter. Let's see how much the company cares about supporting their product?

This is in response to one star reviews that said they received an aftermarket filter. I have no doubt that they understood what they said and I have no explanation for it. But I received mine today (11/29/17) and it's definitely an OEM filter in a legitimate Ridgid box.

OEM filter. at home I'm not worried about excessive dust. The factory filter is quite basic and this version makes this device more suitable for indoor use.

Filters are better than pre-installed filters in a vacuum cleaner. Fits a 6 gallon Ridgid vacuum perfectly (as it should as it's EXACTLY the same as what you get in regular stores but cheaper). I was afraid it would be fake but I've ordered 3 so far and they were all the same. There's no point in going to the stores to buy more of these.

Had a bit of trouble fitting this ring as the ring was quite tight at the open end but fitted well afterward. Bought this as my last filter (single ply, different type) that is detached from the open ended ring and will be b) sanding drywall in my garage. The filter was slightly wrinkled, apparently due to mishandling of the hard case prior to shipping. Arrived a day early for two day shipping (bonus).

everything was perfectly sized and as described. The only thing I didn't like was the price of this filter. The prices were the same on all sides, but it seemed that the price of a vacuum cleaner filter should be a little more affordable. I'm sure many owners will refuse to buy this vacuum because they are frustrated that it lacks the necessary maintenance and they will end up having to part with a previously discarded unit that is no longer fit for the job .

The single-ply filter supplied with your industrial vacuum can only filter particles larger than 10 microns. The large amount of sawdust you produce - and ALL the most dangerous for your lungs - is less. Hook up your camp vacuum to a table saw or grinder and it simply sprays FINE DUST into the air. Replace it with this one - it's a big difference for a relatively small cost. Also, do yourself a favor and buy bags for your shop vacuum cleaner. They cost $5 each and save you the mess and hassle…
