Looks great on soft shell carriers

Really like this bag. It wasn't easy to install on my Jeep, certainly not as easy as they make it out to be. It looks good and appears to be waterproof, although I haven't had to test that extensively yet. I have another one of these on an ATV and it turns out to be waterproof. I'm concerned that it can support the weight of the towing gear I keep in it. Time will tell if the seams will hold up.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Damaged

The build appears to be good and they look like they are quite aquatic.

Now I have two of these and they work fine. One for a 2 man tent with poles. The other is for a down sleeping bag - it has enough space to save an attic. They fit in my Jeep Wrangler in multiple positions so I was able to get them to work despite a lot of other stuff. The workmanship seems good and they look pretty waterproof, but I haven't tested them that way.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Not for convenience

I got what I was promised. I think I thought it was more of a "cloth bag" but it's pretty tough stuff. If the roof is not removed, access to the pockets is difficult and the small pocket is "small". I'm not quite sure what fits in there - maybe the keys. My thought when buying it was to pack my freedom panel storage bag in this bag (I have a JK 2dr) ----- it works fine for that and fits in the roll bar in the back corner - most people wouldn't even notice there. So I'm happy with the purchase…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No

Plenty of space for rescue gear, webbing buckles for bins

Fits 30'3" webbing, 30'2" webbing, pulley and gloves with extra space. Also tossed the bandage in a small bag (I sometimes sleep in the back seat of my jeep on camping trips). The bag looks high quality, but the straps and the double buckle method are complete junk. There is no way to effectively sync the crossbar once the bag is in place. One must try to guess and tighten before she is in place. Most likely they will return it if I can't tighten them after breaking the second buckle. Very…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some little things

Handy sized bag to squeeze into small spaces of a jeep

I have a 2012 Wrangler JK Unlimited 4 door convertible. You cannot use this bag as shown in the picture as it will interfere with the raising and lowering of the top. Still, I like the bag. I can't fit the bag's straps around the roll bar, but the bag's size fits in other places. It's big enough for a fleece jacket and a blanket. It appears to be waterproof. 4 stars for design. Because it is waterproof, a small amount of condensation may form inside if you previously closed it in a humid…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Not 100% sure what to say other than I bought it to carry a tree strap and winch control. He's more than I expected. Imagine a holdall held in a bow with cheap 1 inch straps and buckles. It's just a wrap around strap, there's nothing special about them to keep the bag from swaying as you walk down the street. She is not good. on an arc in my livejournal that you can reach without sitting in the backseat unless you're topless. I'd be afraid to rely on the straps to hold it in the jeep if you…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Fits

Good storage solution on Wrangler JL - Modification required

I attached it to the back of the roll bar on a Wrangler JL and it works well with the modification I made to add two straps (Revain MAGARROW 65 universal strap) × 1.5" with adjustable buckle, 4 packs (black (4pcs)) for the system (note that the length of the strap is actually only about 40 inches). I used these straps once around the roll bar and then around the Bag wrapped and it stays in place (see reviews complaining about it twisting in an arc to one side or the other) to retrieve something

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Very expensive

It works, but only sort of - trail use is fine, DD isn't.

The case itself is very well made and works as advertised. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit properly in the roll bar and is too loose for my liking. I'm a retired soldier and when we assemble field gear we tighten it down so it doesn't bounce, flap or lose. It is impossible. Also, I didn't really find a suitable place to install it. It either touches the rear window (oh damn no) or a passenger's head in the back seat. I also already have a fire extinguisher on one side so they don't match. Topless

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Some issues
