Review on Versatile and Durable Rightline Gear Roll Bar Storage Bag: Black (100J70-B) by Olusola Edwards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It works, but only sort of - trail use is fine, DD isn't.

The case itself is very well made and works as advertised. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit properly in the roll bar and is too loose for my liking. I'm a retired soldier and when we assemble field gear we tighten it down so it doesn't bounce, flap or lose. It is impossible. Also, I didn't really find a suitable place to install it. It either touches the rear window (oh damn no) or a passenger's head in the back seat. I also already have a fire extinguisher on one side so they don't match. Topless I think it would be a fun bag, attach it somewhere on the open roll bar. But since the woman's DD is top-up, there's no good place to mount it without damaging the inner surface of the clear plastic window. I only use it to attach flares, jumper cables etc and throw it in the back. This only partially solves the storage problem and the wife is not entirely satisfied. I just attached one of the straps to the underside of the roll bar and let the bag hang in the trunk - this allows it to hang vertically on one side. hold, and the woman is content enough that it is as far out of the way as possible. I recommend it for trail use. The bag looks "waterproof" enough to me. I do not recommend it for DD purposes, especially with replenishment.
