No padding! about boxing

I had a pair of these that lasted two years and worked great. However, I recently bought a new pair and you can hit the bag with your bare hands. I figured it might just be a defective pair so I sent them back to have them replaced. A spare pair is also unsuitable. You must have changed the padding as you cannot use it.

Ideal for increasing speed, strength, endurance and endurance.

These gloves have greatly increased my hand speed and endurance. My sparring partners often tell me that now my punching power has changed and I can fight 8 rounds at full power. I use 20 ounces on a heavy bag. I mostly do speed drills and set up my power punches. The gloves are snug and comfortable, I recommend Ringside 20oz gloves.

Durable: Other sports

This pair of gloves has lasted me about a year as of the writing of this review. They're great for heavy bag work due to their durability, but they're also good for sparring. The velcro on my gloves still feels new and the gloves themselves have held up very well. The only complaint I had was that the padding on the knuckles seemed to be where the extra 2 ounces of glove weight ended. This made the reach of these gloves about half an inch longer than my 16 ounce gloves.

One of the best 20 ounce gloves you can buy.

I've had other 20 ounce gloves before, but they've always been ridiculously bulky or oversized. NOT with these gloves. Because of the material they're made of, they're heavy without adding extra size. They're probably the same size as regular 14-16 ounce gloves. The outer skin is smooth and looks good. I'm 5.10 and don't have big arms, but I think a person 6 and up shouldn't have a problem with that. Velcro is also very well made. Not too long to wrap around the cuffs, but not too short either.

Untenable. on Sports

Parties for my 13 year old nephew who was just starting to box and wanted thicker gloves to get faster. They work great for a while, but after about 4 months they started cracking. They don't seem to be well made. So if you use them frequently and hit them hard, they probably won't last long. I paid a hundred dollars for them so I don't feel like they're very valuable for the money. I contacted the company after they started cracking within my warranty period and I still haven't received aโ€ฆ
