This controller worked right out of the box. Runs smoothly from low to high speed and seems pretty stable. Although no documentation came with the device, that's the only reason I gave it four stars for "ease of use" instead of five. However, most of the information you need can be found on the Revain website in the item description and any information not listed (e.g. remote potentiometer pinout) is easy to find.

Used to convert three speed Fan-Tastic Vent into a variable speed fan with lower current draw to convert Also added is an on/off switch for the Blue Sea system and a DPDT switch to reverse the engine. Worked great! Bought another Fan-Tastic Vent this week and one of these for our bedroom in the Outdoors RV Trailer. Having used a controller with additional reverse/forward and off switches, I highly recommend them. Turns the cheapest fan into a $300 model.

Updated Review: Has been replaced with a new PWM DC motor controller. This time the engine controller can easily keep up with the engine and still works without problems.
