Fell into disrepair with unwillingness to replace. I do not recommend.

I bought this tape recorder for my son for Christmas and within a month he started shredding the tape intermittently . In mid-March, he ripped out all the cassettes that were playing on the device. When I contacted RipTunes I was dismayed that they wanted to charge me for a replacement, although they admitted this was unusual and incorrect behavior. I have expressed disappointment with this and there has been absolutely no effort on the part of the companies to fix things. Since RipTunes…

It's perfect for you as long as you know what it is.

Don't buy this thinking it's some Sonos pocket oracle barking. This is for people who understand how a small, inexpensive radio with a cassette deck usually sounds - not surprising, but this is for sitting at the kitchen table or taking to a picnic or anywhere else. The great option is that it's bluetooth enabled, its low price, perfect size/shape and you can record to cassette from any other playback option. I haven't had any problems with the Bluetooth connection and I use it every day…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not sure

If you are 50+ then this is for you!

Hey guys, here's my review. Some people were hard on this little guy. The best quality radio alone costs at least 100.00. I know. i own them I think some reviewers don't remember or understand the technology of the 1980s. They need booming bass, etc. Important lesson: analog cassettes! This 12×5×5 boombox was popular for small spaces in the 1980s. It will fill the room. The display shows 4 watts. Haven't they read? The sound matches the price and size. It's made with quality. Not cheap! Stable,

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Only available in black
