I bought 2 other rim tapes which caused the tubes to burst either during installation or on the first ride. It's really good, I've done 1000 miles with no problems. 29" will also fit 700cc road bike wheels. This may be due to mounting narrow road tires as this will loosen the rim tape. Workaround: Either inspect the rim tape closely after mounting the tire, check the condition of the rim tape every few months or look for a spare band :(
