Plate does not slide over the posts

Fits great on the chain, the problem is the plate does not slide over the posts to get the clamp in place. slide enough to attach the clamp. The problem wasn't just with one, but with all three I ordered.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Pretty good

The chain has arrived. Master link missing

I ordered this chain with a bunch of other parts for a transmission overhaul and the link is missing from the chain. It's annoying not being able to install the chain right away, but you shouldn't bother sending it back and waiting for a new one. Tried to contact Revain but only option is to return instead of sending a replacement link. Spring.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

Good Chain - Chains

Well built and packaged chain. I ordered extra links in case the new sprocket combination didn't fit. Dismantling the link wasn't easy, but it was probably due to our tool kit. The push-on fitting was very difficult to install with the o-rings provided, but it would have been easier in a workshop with better tools. If you have used RK chains before and never had a problem. I would recommend a quality link splitting tool if you can afford it.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Clean

I can not believe that.

The item was delivered on time and of good quality. I connected it to the XSO-114 chain. Came with a small packet of lube and the necessary o-rings. It is highly recommended that a nut clamp or real chain tool be used to ensure the posts are properly seated. There are two small thin lines that need to be visible for the clip to snap into place. I do not recommend drilling out the clip to fit. If the clamp is open, it is not installed correctly. I'll probably buy and buy more to keep in the bike

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Link missing

The chain itself is fine or should be in my opinion, looks solid and well built. However, I just installed it, so there's no real way of knowing if it's a good product or not. I was disappointed as I didn't get the connection link. The price was great but I had to buy the adapter separately so that's disappointing. I believe the package was sent in a box with the chain itself coming from the manufacturer. While I love the fact that no additional box or plastic was used to ship this chain, it…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Null

Doesn't fit well enough to snap on.

I played around with this before trying it on my new chain, my fingers couldn't get the cap far enough. I tried swapping the holes, thinking one might be smaller, but no matter how hard I tried, the lid wouldn't close. I thought it was just a tight fit so I started attaching it to the bike chain, now even with pliers and a c clip I could barely get the beginning of the line to show where the safety clip went. It was fun removing the cover, my flathead screwdriver slipped out and I cut my left…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
