This is my first mechanical keyboard (or any keyboard over $25) and I have to say. Everything is fine with them. Connectivity: 10/10. The keyboard with the included key didn't lose connection until I was about 20 feet away, so you could probably use it as a sofa keyboard in a long living room. Plugging the dongle into an active USB extender, but in the same physical location, extended the connection length to the point where I didn't have enough room to walk. This keyboard is great and works great for its specific niches (2.4Ghz wireless, mechanical, RGB). The backlighting of all keys is excellent and the pre-programmed patterns are very good and have many different configurations. Speed and brightness are adjustable, as well as various patterns such as waves, puffs and solid colors. I recently placed my Steam computer behind the TV and there seems to be some interference, but once I move the USB extension dongle so that it's in sight under the TV (the sofa is 8ft from the TV) , everything still works fine (see photo). The only thing I noticed after almost 2 years is that the built-in battery discharges a little more than before. This keyboard has everything I needed and after modification it is even better than I hoped. This is my first "custom" keyboard, although you can take my opinion with a grain of salt as I've only come across the basic offerings so far. Update: After almost a year, the keyboard still works like new for me. I've only had to plug it in for a charge maybe once a month, all buttons are responsive, all buttons are backlit in all colors and I have nothing to complain about. In fact, I'm not sure if it's because I got used to the feel of this keyboard or because the switches break, but I find typing on this keyboard easy and very enjoyable. later Since my first keyboard was one of the old IBM mechanical keyboards that were passed down to me as a kid, it definitely has a similar feel and sound when I'm typing this. I order this with brown switches. If you're expecting this to be used for portability, it's technically small enough to carry around. However, any mechanical keyboard you buy will be heavy!
