The volume buttons on my original BDV-N790W remote didn't work. This remote worked right away. Without programming and any settings. Simply insert batteries and you're done. Recommend if your Sony remote control is not working.

Second replacement for my Sony Blu-ray DVD player. I bought the first one and it took weeks to get here. I ordered it and it was here in 2 days. So far, so good. It was inexpensive and fits an almost outdated DVD player.

All DVD player functions work properly, but the remote could not be programmed for the TV's power and volume. The original J remote was able to do this without too much trouble.
