This is the third one I've ordered because my kids keep breaking it. No remote control error; they were kicked etc. The remote control is excellent.

This remote control was already paired with my DVD Blu-ray player. I thought I had to do this but it worked as soon as I put batteries in it.

I was very pleased that it came very quickly and turned out to be the ideal controller to replace the one that burned when lightning struck our house.

The only difference between this remote and the one that came with the player is that the new one doesn't have a Sony on it. Otherwise, it is identical and works just like the original.

Great remote control. All I had to do was insert batteries and it was ready to use. Unfortunately, my original remote control broke. This remote control is definitely worth the money.

Did not fit our Blu-ray player, but could be the Blu-ray player itself. So not sure what the problem is - bored grandkids fiddling with settings, one player not working, or 2 remotes not working.

One morning my toddler managed to get my hands on my coffee and spilled it on my Blu-Ray remote, rendering it unusable. I ordered this one hoping it would work - it worked! saved the day! I could use one from my other Blu-ray player, but I didn't want one running around the house with two little boys. It was a must have and a great replacement!

If you want to use the power button or TV volume control with a non-Sony TV, this copy does not support that feature of the original remote. [Note: I couldn't verify if TV/Volume works at all as I don't have a Sony TV] The remote control works well for the Blu-ray player function. Another positive point: the seller quickly made sure that the remote control is not programmable.
