Warm. Blurred. Effective.

We love this duvet - would buy it again. Be sure to unplug it when your car isn't running, as leaving it plugged in overnight will drain your car battery! (Lesson learned! Crazy!) It takes about 15-20 minutes to really heat up, but once it does it's sooooo cozy and warm. I used it to heat my toddler's car seat over the winter; I had heated seats, I thought that might heat his seat as well. Works great in my converted van

I converted my Chrysler Town and Country Tour to a van with about 2.5kW DC power. I had to solve my sleeping problem. At night when it's cold, I needed a way to keep warm without using solar energy. There were two things about this blanket that made me buy it. 1. It didn't have an auto shut off. Many other 12V DC blankets have an auto shut off feature that cannot be turned off. They turn off every 1/2 hour every hour. This won't work for me. I didn't want to wake up and put the covers back on. 2. Power consumption / current are indicated in the…

Cons
  • Good but not great

Okay, after reading all the available reviews (and being completely confused by conflicting information, I decided to post the exact information I received directly from RoadPro: First of all, RoadPro NEVER has a duvet sold, ie used by 6.7 - Low Current (80.4W) This blanket (Model #RPHB-110DB) draws only 4.6A, low current (55W) The blanket is pre-configured to operate at a maximum temperature reaching from 110 F to 115 F degrees starts heating as soon as it is plugged in. However, the time it…
