Striped border

This fabric was used for the quilt we saw. We thought its use as a binder was very different and added a lot of flash to the quilt. We didn't think of using the striped fabric as a binding.

Great fabric!

Great fabric! From this fabric I sewed a summer bag and pajamas. Easy to wash and dry. One thing you need to know is that it is not 100% cotton. Description is inaccurate. It consists of 55% cotton, 45% polyester and is very easy to care for. Find the same fabric at fabric.com, Robert Kaufman doesn't make 100% cotton seersucker (maybe they used to, but not anymore).

Pros
  • Precut quilt squares

just okay - defective

I ordered 4 meters for a bathrobe. I ordered a few more to be on the safe side. Well, because the manufacturer or seller noticed an error in the footage because of the red thread. Why send footage with a detectable error? I was able to bypass this and use literally every last inch of what I ordered. If I couldn't get around that I would send it back and order again.

Pros
  • sewing
Cons
  • without execution
