I bought this for my 88 year old father to while away the time on cold winter days; In fact, this train was his 3D wooden puzzle. He really enjoyed putting them all together. I will always cherish them. Now select the next one.

They loved it! But whoever you give it to, make sure they have at least a little patience. It's definitely not something you can just rush into. They were in a hurry and ended up breaking a piece while trying to put something back together. In the end it becomes a life lesson :p

My eight year old bought this product and we put it together. It wasn't difficult but it took a long time (about 4 hours). We found using tweezers for tiny parts was very helpful. The device itself works better than expected. However, the bulb is very bright, so it works best in near-total darkness. My son loves this!

I find it funny that one of the qualities you are asked to rate in this review is "easy to assemble". I bought it because it is definitely not easy to assemble but very difficult. This is my first experience with Robotime 3D Puzzles. I had the pleasure of collecting a treasure chest from Ugears and expected the same quality of materials and craftsmanship. Unfortunately the wood split easily and the laser cut was suboptimal. Many parts had to be sanded to remove the splinters. This puzzle also has design issues. Wow that was a great build, I think it would be difficult for a child. I did most of the assembly and my son helped put the pieces together. Several pieces were difficult to put together, not at all as easy as their video, which must have had perfectly smooth pieces. There were several burrs and splinters on the pieces popping out of the board. They provide a skinny 1 inch square of sandpaper.
