It was really difficult to put together! Thought less would be easier - not like that! It looks very nice, but I was never able to align the music box gears. Got it twice!

I really enjoyed doing this to give my daughter her 8th birthday present but no matter how much I waxed the end result was unsatisfactory. The music just doesn't play right when everything is tightly packed. Besides, it's beautiful.

Instructions seem complicated at first glance, but they contain all the necessary explanations. There is a QR code at the end of the manual that shows how to close the lid, which was very helpful. It also has an extra small piece or two, so even if it breaks, it's easy to close. The light isn't brighter than I thought it would be, but it has an atmosphere. I loved it.

so far this model fits very well. I gave it 5 stars for ease of assembly because it's well made, the pieces fit together nicely, and the more delicate pieces have extras. However, it is not the easiest in terms of the level of complexity for these types of models. This is only the second clock I've made and it definitely takes more work than the desk clock I made, but if you follow the instructions and take your time it's not that hard.
