Good strength - great for folding (if you're careful) and chipping bricks

. It was covered in construction dust and then it started raining. I was sure it would rust but I've washed and dried it with a tissue and it's still in great condition. worked fine for my purposes. In fact, I prefer a sharp point as it can more easily penetrate the mortar gaps between the bricks. I don't think I'll ever need to buy one again, but if I lost this one I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. .

Pros
  • . Best
Cons

Great tool for hammers

Took this tool for digging through rocks in southern Colorado. It is very well made with good balance. The grip is strong. All the chips I made while using it didn't affect the end of the bit in any way. I would buy it again if I list it or lose it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Holds up well good for hand tools

I used this tool for several hours removing mortar and shaping bricks to repair a brick wall. It's a good weight and shows no signs of damage. The handle is very comfortable when using a hammer head, not so comfortable when using the pointed end. By the way, about the sharp end. Some images show the instrument with a pointed end rather than a pointed end. This one has a pointed end.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

When your husband says he can't get on his "jointed old knees "

Little did I know when I bought this quality rock collector that I would be digging an entire 100 meter ditch on my hands and knees. With just a little more than a little music, a good cold beer, and this handy pickaxe that's helped me dig through so much dirt and hard rock, I've gotten a whole bunch of blisters on my hands. not to say I didn't enjoy helping my old man and the fact that I actually found a cool rock while being an eager Rockhound. One thing this epic stone hammer did for me wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
