Bought to replace table buffer switch

The on/off switch on my 5 year old 6" Harbor Freight buffer broke. Ordered this switch, installed it and 10 minutes later my buffer was back in operation. Note. Refer to page 1 of the Manikin Parts book, make sure the equipment is unplugged from the power source. Next, pay attention to how your existing switch is wired (for example, take a piece of paper, draw a small diagram and take notes) and then wire it up the same way. If you are unsure, use a meter, if you are still unsure a professional

Pros
  • Rocker switch with on/off function
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Helpful Wiring Tips and Hole Size

Hole Size: At least 0.53" wide, at least 1.08" tall. The schematic that came with the switch is NOT wrong, it's just confusing. In the schematic, the terminals are listed as 1, 2, 3 and the switch is labeled A, B, C. As someone else checked, A=1, B=2, etc. The other confusing part of the switch is the mains connection (120V AC). black input wire) and the load terminal (the black 120VAC wire that goes to what you control with the switch) are silver colored, while the neutral terminal (the white…

Pros
  • Lights up red light
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works great but the spec table is wrong/confusing.

Great little rocker switch and high quality. But how could a manufacturer spoil the curves/schematic? The rocker switch has tabs labeled "1", "2" and "3" (left to right) but labeled "C" in the illustration (also left to right) , "B", "A". I had to pull out the meter and check how it actually happens. It looks like this"1" = "A", "2" = "B" and "3" = "C". To simplify, "1" is the line (hot/black wire), "2" goes to the device you want to turn on or off, and "3" is the neutral (white wire). Also…

Pros
  • 15/7.5A rated at 125/250VAC
Cons
  • Something different
