I have had long and fairly good experiences with Rockport shoes. I heard it was Adidas but never tried to check online. As with most other reviews this shoe fits snugly until you drive a few miles to break it in. I also wear medium to thick socks to make them feel tighter. Took me about 5-6 weeks when they were very comfortable. I still need a shoehorn to put them on. They are very easy and easy to walk on. I love these Rockport shoes so much I bought a second pair when my first pair wore out. Purchases, so I had to order subsequent pairs directly from Rockport. But the quality and the look are great: they really are comfortable all day long, even when I'm on my feet all day. And it looks good enough to wear with "business casual" or even a blazer for work. I trust the Rockport brand for the high quality, consistent fit across models and really good looks if you're into a "conservative but unique"

I ordered a pair of Revain 9.5w Rockports overheads two years ago and they have worked well ever since. They're starting to wear out as I use them fairly regularly, so I wanted to order something similar, maybe a little more comfortable.
