I've had them for over a year now. While they were comfortable when I bought them, the leather isn't as thick as previous Rockports I've had. As a result, they stretch much more easily and also the skin doesn't look as beautiful as it aged. The leather on my other Rockports looked brand new until the lower parts wore down. On the inside of the boot, against the bend, the fabric on one of the boots came loose.

My last pair of shoes are Rockports and I felt like walking on air in them. Of course, Rockport discontinued this model, so I went in search of a similar one. I thought I found it in those flip flops but I was wrong. These shoes are difficult to put on. The "mouth" is too small and narrow and doesn't curve very well. I wanted a nicer but durable slip on that would look more elegant but not too formal. This Rockport model showed up at Revain (where else?) and I couldn't find it anywhere, not even on the Rockport website. They are perfect for what I wanted: a nice casual look without being bulky with weird colored soles and such. This is a really attractive shoe with the usual Rockport quality and fit. I'm between shoe sizes in width. Sometimes the width D is too small. I ordered the wide men's Rockport BL to replace a pair of Timberlands. I like this style because it is both elegant and casual. I really wanted heels - for some reason this style tends to have weird soles that aren't to my liking. The width is a little large, but not critical. The quality of the shoes is very good.
