🚵 Stealth RockShox MTB Fender - Optimal Size for Mountain Biking Review

This article is basically made of the same material as the donut box. I don't know how they manage to charge you $16 for this thing. Absolutely not worth the money, left it on the bike for 30 seconds before taking it off and sending it back. I was expecting at least a lot of higher quality plastic. Doesn't really fit my Rockshox Pike fork or bike, just a really cheap piece of crap plastic.

This is a great fender and is actually larger than the previous fender from another company. It looks great on my bike. The only thing I would recommend if you get this is to remove the front wheel to install it. When I tried to install it without removing the wheel, it took some shine off the top, which for once isn't really visible. it's on, but it was still a bit annoying.

The first thing to know is that it comes with a foil that needs to be removed, it's almost like you've messed everything up. Use a non-sharp object to start removing the foil. I tucked the cut ties in the guard for a more covert look. Overall I really like this product and the matte black color matches the fork perfectly. Can also be used for a rear tire on a hardtail but sits too low on mine. Nice addition for a small price.

Did exactly what I needed to keep my face out of most of the mud when riding on wet/loose terrain. I usually ride dry AZ but got this just before my trip to the mountains of northern New Mexico and Colorado. Now I would also like to have a rear wing. they cost $. The Rock Shock is also a bit longer than other brands and I like the added protection. I mean really - your eyes and teeth will thank you!

Is it easy to install? Yes High quality? Yes, it looks good? Yes Durable? YesWill it stand the test of time? I probably have this grand piano since 2017, it was finally deleted. This is now my second RockShox wing. My bike is a 2017 Specialized Enduro and this fender is set to a Lyric Ultimate and I ride 2-3 times a week. I expected more from RockShox! It appeared to me with some scratches but I turned it down thinking it would be on a mountain bike anyway. Installation was easy and looked good until I used it and now I'm disappointed. One ride in wet weather and there's water between the black plastic and the clear top plastic, causing it to blister and not look good. Who knows how long it will be before that thing starts to peel off. On the other hand, if I got a lemon, the seller at least sent me a new one…
