Great little lens for the A7iii. I bought it because of the good reviews and am very happy with it. The IQ is solid and the autofocus is fast. Just got back from vacation - got this and Tamron 28-75. I ended up recording 90% of the ride with this 24. Not so good for videos, but not too bad either. I'm glad I bought it!

The courier threw the lens over the fence and didn't even think to call the day of delivery. I didn't notice any problems with the lens at first, the autofocus worked well, so I figured there was no damage from the brutal delivery. I needed a quick lens repair for my longer range A7Rii. The range is just great, but the lens only works halfway. I need a minimum aperture for focusing. As soon as I turn it on, the lens really starts howling (yes, howling noises) and there is just NO focusing. The photos look very good. Digital. Very pixelated. I contacted support but the options they gave me didn't work for me. I'm losing money on this lens and unfortunately won't be buying any Samyang or Rokinon products in the future…
