The courier threw the lens over the fence and didn't even think to call the day of delivery. I didn't notice any problems with the lens at first, the autofocus worked well, so I figured there was no damage from the brutal delivery. It wasn't until a few weeks later that I realized something was wrong with the focal plane. I noticed that the axis of the lens is tilted. In the attached image you can see that the trees on the left side of the lens are sharp, but at the same time the trees on the right side are out of focus. The lens is completely useless at open aperture, the only way to use it is to use f/8 and below. This is a terrible experience and I am very disappointed.
