Incredibly detailed, high quality wooden model (puzzle) of a steam locomotive

This model (puzzle) has been beautifully designed with incredible accuracy and functionality. Laser cutting the plywood pieces was very precise and removing them from the panels was easy to do if you were patient and careful. Overall I gave the kit 5 out of 5 and the instructions 4 out of 5. Read the entire instruction manual carefully and then check each step before assembling the parts and you will be successful. I would suggest liberally oiling all moving wooden parts (gears - rails) after…

Brilliant! Even better with a few tips.

It was a blast to build. There are many small parts so 1) be careful not to lose them and 2) be aware of the risks before assembling with young children (there are many choking hazards in this set). The more force is used, the faster and smoother the train moves. into the construction. The best way to ensure efficient movement is to carefully sand down the rough edges on the gears and make sure the spiral leaf spring that drives the gears is running smoothly before installing it (you can never…

Fun to Build Detailed Steam Engine Model

ROKR's wooden steam engine model is called "3D Puzzle Set". I completed it in two days without much difficulty. The model is made from laser cut pieces of wood that need to be punched (carefully) from eight large flat sheets of wood. Individual parts are marked with a table and number.
