I made some plastic car models and this was the first wooden model I tried. It was wonderful! The instructions were much clearer than regular plastic models. It was great not having to use glue, although I did smudge the four pieces coming out of the motor on each side a bit as it was difficult to get them to snap into place. I really enjoyed building this model. It was hard enough to keep my attention, but not so bad that I got frustrated and threw the stupid thing away. The pieces are big enough for me to handle easily. They also come off fairly easily. I was very upset when I broke the rudder trying to get it off the sheet. then I noticed they provided a second one! The second was removed with no problems. This is the first set I put together from this manufacturer. I've been building plastic model cars for years and this set is one of the most satisfying builds ever. There are very small and delicate details, so you have to take your time and take your time. One of the things I liked the most was "NO GLUE, NO PAINTING"!
