They won't fit in my Thule trunk. When kitted for a basket, it sits too high and catches so much wind that my mileage drops 3mpg. I'm tired of giving things back!

Lost a set moving to my highland roof. A direct replacement could not be found and that was for the best. Not an exact replacement, but does the job.

Very solid construction, I ended up removing the rubber/plastic spacer as it took up a lot of space but everything else was very useful and felt very secure. I've just bought 4 of these and would buy them again and again.

Exactly the same as in the kit. However 2 originals fell off after a few months so can't comment on the quality but it was cheaper than buying another rack. I'm glad they offer a replacement but they need to work on the threads as they loosen over time.

I have a Curt roof basket and the original mounting brackets have broken joints horribly. I didn't have a roof basket 365 days a year, I only put it on before long trips when I needed extra storage. I ended up using a saw and cutting off the old brackets. These new mounting brackets snap into place with ease and the nuts are easy to tighten. They go perfectly with my Curt Rooftop Basket. My only criticism is that they are quite expensive at $20 each.
