I needed a smaller shelf for our dining area. It meets all requirements. I noticed that some other reviews have mentioned things like holes. A trick often helps here: Do not tighten the screws that fasten the legs and shelves until you have screwed in all the screws. This saves you time and nerves.

Perfect assembly in about 45 minutes with my 9 year old and I. Unfortunately the allen wrench was completely broken halfway through assembly and it's either metric or otherwise and one set doesn't have one that fits and the other has one that fits snugly but almost perfectly. But it came out of my husband's toolbox. Maybe you should send a tool to complete the build?

The shelves assemble very well together with the intended side. As soon as I tried to connect the shelves on the side, the screws didn't go all the way. I've tried everything, tried going straight in, giving myself a bigger hole to screw it in and just leaving it a little loose, hoping the other side is tight enough. It's possible mine was just defective, although I wouldn't collect another to find out.

I didn't like the stickers identifying each item with such strong adhesive. They were very difficult to remove completely when I picked them up. Even after cleaning, there are still adhesive residues on the shelves. The size is perfect for my space and usage needs. I love how deep the shelves are, I was able to purchase some inexpensive fabric bins that are perfect for these shelves to organize my craft supplies.

I like this shelf. Looks good, fits where I wanted, pretty sturdy. Gathering was a headache! I've assembled MANY pieces of furniture over the years so I'm familiar with the process. The instructions for this part were easy and I figured the entire process would take 40 minutes. Then the Allen key included in the kit rounded off the first shelf. These bookshelves are great for the space I need to work in. I especially like the little ledges to keep things from sliding off the back or side and the hooks that allow me to hang cords from the edge of the shelf. I haven't finished tidying up yet, so they're looking dirty right now, but I'm excited to finish cleaning and really use the extra storage space these shelves have given me. I really like my bookshelf, don't get me wrong, but the tool they provided to assemble it was very flimsy and started to bend halfway through. Thank goodness I hired a professional to do the assembly and he had a heavier hex wrench to use but he couldn't use a drill and I had to do everything by hand. It took almost 3 hours.
