This alarm is on my key fob. I will use it to gain attention when I fear for my safety. I always carry my keys in my hand and my purse on my shoulder when I'm out in public. also attaches not only to the siren but also to the wrist mount, so it's very easy to pull it and instantly sound a loud siren. Got 2 pieces for me and my 2 daughters. I pulled the needle when I got it and this thing is damn loud! The reviewers who said it wasn't loud are already deaf. It scared me and I was ready for it, so it will definitely deter an intruder! Before I got them I was a little concerned that the pin might be accidentally pulled out, but it's pretty good at it and needs a good pull. Another benefit: it scares pets to death, especially our mischievous dog.
