ROPER Cross Rider Rocky Brown: Durable and Stylish Footwear for the Adventurous Review

This is the second pair I've bought. I have a bump on my foot so I needed a wide boot that I can still ride in. Great for riding even with spurs and also comfortable when you're on your feet all day. Very durable - lasted over a year.

Great boots. As they are no longer made I am buying additional pairs for the future. If you are looking for a good looking hybrid (walking/riding) boot with a very low heel for security and spur support these boots are a great choice.

My husband has been wearing these boots for a few years now. He works in it and likes that his liners fit in it. He needs extra room for his toes and they fit him perfectly.

I love these boots. They are very comfortable and light. I have ordered a second pair. My husband is very difficult to please and loves her.

My only complaint is the lack of arch support, even with the extra padding. I have owned several Roper Horse shoes over the years. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. The price was also very good as they usually go over $100 elsewhere.

He wears them outside when he feeds our animals in our stable. We've had no luck finding a pair in our local (and limited) stores. Finally, I said, let's try to be reborn. Bought as a gift for my son who wore them on his lunch break and happily wore them back to work :) They look great and seem well made.

I work at the ranch at least 8 hours a day every day, usually more. I had a hard time finding comfortable work boots that I could also ride in if needed without having to change boots. I'm tired of wearing cowboy boots that are either too uncomfortable or too heavy. These shoes fill my need to wear cowboy boots but with the comfort of hiking boots. As long as they wear themselves well. Five stars for saving my legs and back.

I use this boot almost every day, even on horseback. The last one is almost 2 years old. Comfortable, not hot on summer days, fits well in the stirrup.

My husband has wide, high arched feet which makes it difficult for him to put the boots on, not to mention blow them out very quickly. They hold up very well and are easy on the feet. You're comfortable standing, keeping your feet on the roofs of the buildings he worked on. I wear them for skating because I have wide feet and women's boots don't fit me. I have them in men's sizes which are smaller than what I wear and there is plenty of room in width. Ride in them again, they hold the stirrups…

Due to the swelling after the operation on the bone, I didn't have the right women's riding boots. These boots fit well with plenty of toe room. 7.0 is a bit too long for my legs - 6.5 would fit a bit better but at least I can ride again now! There is a nice solid heel that does a good job of holding a spur and my half toes sit comfortably on the soft mid-waist/ankle area of the boot.

Love these boots! I buy two pairs every year. The elders take turns working with the horses, cleaning the stables and taking care of external affairs. They are very comfortable, wear well and offer good arch support. I change the insoles every 6 months or so. They have enough heels, I don't have to change into riding boots if I want to quickly ride one of my good horses. I wear Olathe boots when riding a young horse or going on a long ride.
